About Me...
Dion has been a fully qualified Senior Financial Planner since 2008, having spent time advising clients in the retail and investment banking space, as well as the boutique wealth advisory and accountancy arena, prior to moving to self-employment, licensed by Beryllium Advisers.
Dion has completed the Masters of Financial Planning, as well as an array of further specialist studies including accreditation in Direct Equities, Self-Managed Superannuation Funds and Aged Care advice strategies. He is a Practitioner Member of the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) and is certified with the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA).
Dion has a recognised ability to explain concepts and strategies in a way that is understandable to his audience; communicating in an open and clear manner with people from all walks of life. He is passionate about helping people improve their financial position, but specifically, giving clarity and peace of mind for his clients around how best to fund retirement.
On a personal level Dion is proudly married with three kids and derives great joy from seeing their young lives develop and flourish. He himself has a constant thirst for knowledge and enjoys getting his hands dirty – he is an occasional home handy-man and will try his hand at most tasks around the house. When he can, he also enjoys getting out on our beautiful Queensland beaches.
